So, I finished my version of Juliet. It isn't good. It looks sort of cute but my gauge was all off and it came out too small. I can't remember the last time I made a sweater that came out well enough for me to really want to wear it. Here's my rundown:
Green Gable - first attempt at a top-down sweater - made the armholes too tight and sweater was too short - gave it to my mom.
Regine - looked good at first but didn't like the way the neck came out - ultimately frogged it and made a baby sweater out of the yarn.
Leaf T - too tight - gave it to a co-worker
Scatter - actually, that one came out fine - long enough - not too tight but not thrilled with the neckline - I do wear it sometimes.
Fifi - came out fine but didn't like the yarn (Cotton Ease) and didn't like the shape in the front.
U Vest - gauge was off, too tight - frogged - still haven't done anything with the yarn.
Antropolgie Inspired Capelet - tried making some changes - didn't like.
Juliet - gauge was off - didn't follow directions well because I wanted the body to be a bit less poofy - too tight.
Now I'm finishing the Spicy Fitted T and so far it looks good but we'll see what happens.

Just the worst, isn't it? Sorry the knitting goddesses are letting you down right now.
Maybe a package would cheer you up?

I hope you have better luck this time around. It stinks when you've put a lot of work into a project, only to have it not work. ugh. At least you've been able to give some away or re-use the yarn.
